Assessing our Progress in Making Connections Through 2023-2024

We are thrilled to share that we were able as a school to move our learners forward in reading, specifically in the area of making connections. Through the support of professional learning for colleagues, it is evident that our students benefited from the support colleagues received in making their lesson sequences explicit and supportive for learners to further develop how we make connections when reading all kinds of text.

As a staff, we will review the data and ask ourselves where to next with our goal of reading for the 2024-2025 school year, specifically in the area of reading comprehension (reading for understanding).
